As the online brokerage platform of La Banque Postale, EasyBourse needed to modernize its production infrastructure to support growing customer demand, stronger security requirements, and higher performance expectations. After adopting containerization internally in 2017, the company wanted to extend Kubernetes to its production environment while maintaining strict compliance standards required in the financial sector. The existing infrastructure had reached its scalability limits, where onboarding new customers negatively impacted overall platform performance. EasyBourse required a highly secure and resilient bare-metal Kubernetes environment capable of meeting ISO 27001 standards while supporting mission-critical financial workloads, multi-site redundancy, and high-performance storage operations. A major technical challenge also involved migrating the entire production environment and all associated data from the legacy infrastructure to the new Kubernetes platform overnight, without service interruption.

The Solution

Following a six-month tender process, IG1 was selected to design, deploy, and operate EasyBourse's production Kubernetes infrastructure. IG1 implemented a fully managed bare-metal Kubernetes cluster distributed across three physical sites, ensuring high availability, resilience, and business continuity. The architecture includes multi-site backup replication, advanced storage management, encrypted off-site backups with Velero, and enterprise-grade network segmentation policies. The platform was built to comply with ISO 27001 operational and security requirements while providing the flexibility and scalability of cloud-native infrastructure on dedicated physical servers. IG1 also supported EasyBourse throughout the migration process — the entire environment was switched overnight with zero downtime.

Working closely with Embleema's engineering teams, IG1 deployed an Infrastructure-as-Code approach enabling rapid and repeatable multi-country platform deployments. The architecture leveraged Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, GitLab for CI/CD and version control management, and Puppet to enforce infrastructure consistency and security baselines across environments. The AWS-based platform was specifically designed to support healthcare compliance requirements, leveraging AWS-certified infrastructures including HDS certification in France and locally compliant environments across target regions. IG1 also ensured operational reliability, secure deployment pipelines, infrastructure monitoring, and scalable cloud operations capable of supporting Embleema's private Ethereum blockchain infrastructure and decentralized healthcare data ecosystem.

Molotov TV set out to reinvent the French television experience by streaming over 100 live TV channels and offering cloud DVR capabilities to millions of subscribers. The platform needed to handle massive concurrent viewership spikes during prime-time hours and major live events, often jumping from baseline to millions of simultaneous streams within minutes. Additionally, French media regulations (CSA) imposed strict requirements around content delivery, data sovereignty, and broadcasting compliance that ruled out standard public cloud deployments.

French financial regulators (ACPR/AMF) impose stringent requirements around data handling, audit trails, and system resilience. Paymium needed infrastructure that could deliver institutional-grade security without compromising on the raw performance required for competitive trading.

IG1 designed a multi-layer security architecture built on dedicated bare-metal servers with air-gapped environments for cold wallet storage and key management. We integrated Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for cryptographic operations, ensuring private keys never exist in software. HashiCorp Vault manages all secrets with strict access controls and comprehensive audit logging. Designed to simplify document workflows for SMEs, enterprises, and public organizations, Zeendoc processes and stores massive quantities of sensitive business data including invoices, HR documents, contracts, and accounting records. With more than 70,000 users and 3,000+ companies relying on the platform, scalability, security, and performance became strategic priorities. As adoption accelerated, Zeendoc faced several infrastructure challenges: expanding storage capacity, modernizing its hosting architecture, improving operational flexibility, and ensuring uninterrupted service continuity while maintaining control over infrastructure administration. To support its long-term ambitions and future European expansion, the company decided to migrate from a traditional physical infrastructure toward a hybrid cloud architecture combining virtualization and dedicated hardware.

IG1 partnered with Zeendoc to design and operate a hybrid cloud environment tailored to the platform's evolving SaaS workloads. The infrastructure combines a virtualized cloud environment with dedicated physical appliances connected to the platform, enabling optimized resource allocation between critical and non-critical workloads. IG1 progressively migrated physical server roles into virtual machines while maintaining business continuity and operational stability throughout the transition. To ensure high availability and storage performance, IG1 deployed a resilient infrastructure architecture including virtualization cluster management, load balancing services, firewall protection, VPN access, network management, and continuous hardware supervision. The platform's storage layer relies on enterprise-grade NetApp infrastructure with daily remote backups, ensuring secure long-term preservation of business-critical documents and rapid recovery capabilities.
